The ConCERN project is a digital health intervention being developed within Michigan Medicine to support caregivers of individuals with opioid use disorder. We are building a website where caregivers can create accounts, access tailored educational modules, and track their progress over time.

We are seeking a web developer to help build the backend infrastructure for this platform, focusing on user authentication, database interactions, and connection to our frontend interface. This is a collaborative role where you will be working with a UX Designer, Project Manager, and Data Manager/Statistician on the team, as well as coordinating with various UofM departments such as ITS. 

Demonstrated experience building websites or web applications with user login / authentication functionality (through coursework, hackathons, or personal projects).

Experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript and a backend language such as Python (Flask/Django), Node.js, or similar.

Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Airtable, or Firebase).

Experience using Git for version control.
