Job Description

Our lab studies central nervous system regeneration in zebrafish. We have a large zebrafish colony and require students to help feed, clean tanks, maintain the facility in a clean and orderly manner. Weekend work is required.

Educational Value

Students will learn fish husbandry as well as how to use equipment for monitoring water quality and fish health.

Job Requirements

This job has a huge influence on the quality of the research performed in the lab. We require a very responsible person that is honest and reliable. Must be neat and organized, willing to follow directions and able to work independently after being trained. Fish are on a feeding schedule that must be followed so promptness is also important. Tasks cannot be put off at the student's convenience.

Hourly Rate $10.00/hour
