Job Description

Document Delivery is seeking a reliable, motivated individual to help retrieve and reshelve materials at the Health Sciences Remote Storage facility. This position routinely searches for bound and loose medical journals and books by navigating compact shelving units and using step ladders to retrieve materials. You will be working with library staff members to transport materials via the university's delivery van. In addition to retrieving from HSRS, you will also be scanning materials using shared computers and scanning equipment, and may help cover shipping and walking delivery in the department, which require moving materials up to 30 lbs. Please include your available work schedule for this position

Job Requirements
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to move materials weighing up to 30lbs
  • Ability to use a step ladder to move materials
  • Must be able to work with a shift sometime between the hours of 9am-12pm (no weekends)
