Job Description

ArtsEngine is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. This position will play a leading role in creating effective and engaging graphic design elements for a variety of ArtsEngine marketing and communications efforts. Projects may include logo design, brand style guides, print handout/collateral design and creation, poster design and creation, digital advertising design, social media assets, and other efforts that support the mission and activities of ArtsEngine. Marketing and communications will target a broad range of audiences from students to upper administration, both on campus and internationally. 

 

Duties:

  • Designing print deliverables, including but not limited to, posters, flyers, brochures, pamphlets, wayfinding signage
  • Creating graphic assets for the web, including but not limited to, social media graphics, digital advertisements, infographics, email newsletter graphics
  • Developing brand identity assets (logos, iconography, etc.)

This position enables the employee to work under the guidance of ArtsEngine staff on the development of organizational communications materials. The employee will learn about graphic design and marketing strategies, and improve writing and communication skills.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • Experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of high-quality ideation and design 
  • Demonstrated ability in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and/or other Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Able to meet advertising deadlines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with web design and marketing communications
  • Prior social media management for an organization or nonprofit
  • Understanding of Web Standards Compliance
  • Demonstrated logo design experience
