This is a hands on science position. The person will be assisting a researcher with laboratory work. This work is focused on investigating the mechanics of aging using molecular and protein techniques.

This person will be responsible for making solutions, preparing protein and RNA extractions, preparing DNA extractions, preparing samples for PCR and qPCR experiments, performing gel electrophoresis, analyzing data, working collaboratively with other students and staff, and executing other responsibilities necessary for the general functioning of a research laboratory.
