Job Description

The School of Social Work Information Technology department is looking for a work study interested in working 8-14 hours a week supplying multimedia and audio-visual support to the faculty and staff at the School of Social Work as well as assisting with event support and setup. Primary duties involve triaging classroom A/V requests and assisting with videoconferencing needs. Additional duties may include video and audio editing/captioning, training, documentation, and updating inventories as needed. 

Educational Value

Successful candidates will learn how to work independently and as part of a team. They will gain real-world technical and practical skills such as AV, computer, and video conferencing technologies as well as in event support tasks.

Job Requirements

Training will be provided, however, ideal candidates will have knowledge in basic A/V and computer troubleshooting and experience with videoconferencing technologies. Ability to lift and manage 50 lbs. with assistance. Attendance and punctuality is critical.

Priority will be given to candidates able to work Saturdays from 8:30-12:30pm for spring/summer with remaining hours set M-F.

 

 

Hourly Rate $15.00/hour
