Applicants must have exceptional organizational and communication skills, show attention to detail, be dependable and have good customer relation skills. Self-motivation and the flexibility to move from one function to another with little notice is required. Students are expected to maintain the confidentiality of the office and effectively manage their time. Reasonable knowledge of and ability to use standard business software and computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google tools, Adobe Professional) and general office equipment is necessary. Candidates need to have the ability to work with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students and to follow both verbal and written instructions. Professional appearance is required and some previous office/receptionist experience is a plus. The hours worked for this position will be within the business hours of 9am – 5pm during Monday through Friday. Exact hours worked are negotiable. |
