Job Description

The Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs Office is looking for candidates to serve as Student Coordinators for the Grants and Outreach (GO) Team for the 2026-2027 academic year. Student Coordinators are a part of a team responsible for advising student organizations throughout their grant application process and participate in outreach events as representatives of MESA. Students in this position report to MESA staff who work with you throughout training and the year.

We welcome the unique contributions and intersections that you can bring. Previous experience in working with grants is not required and training will be provided. It is essential that you’re passionate about helping other students create impactful events for the campus community.

Based on the availability of Student Coordinators, training will be in late August to early September. After training and onboarding processes, you will then begin meeting with student organizations to talk about their grant applications or their interest in MESA support. Towards the end of each semester, you will support planning of the Grants Celebration to honor events students hosted throughout the semester.

Thank you for your time, interest, and investment in this important work. We look forward to reviewing your application.
