The laboratory is seeking a student to assist in the preparation and maintenance of several pediatric clinical research studies.  There are two primary tasks.  The first involves preparing kits for each study, which are sent to participating study centers nationwide. The second task involves data entry for study databases. Additional duties may include opportunities to participate directly in research projects, including DNA isolation and analysis.  This position requires availability year round (includes spring/summer term)

Looking for a mature, reliable and trustworthy candidate. Must demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent attention to detail, very good organizational skills, and show initiative and ability to learn new skills or techniques. Prior experience working with excel is preferred but not required as is prior experience working independently. This position requires 2 hrs 2-3x a week, and the students must be available throughout the summer.
