Seeking one or more outgoing, energetic, organized, and dependable individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Required qualifications include: Excellent written and spoken communication skills Attention to detail Comfort using basic computer software and web platforms, such as Google Suite programs and Microsoft Office
Desired qualifications: International/intercultural experience, familiarity with other languages and cultures, and/or speaking a second or third language Event planning experience Familiarity with various forms of social media, including Slack
To be considered, candidates must be available to work in-person on U-M Ann Arbor’s Central Campus: June 16 - June 30: Pre-program planning (4-6 hours/week) July 1 - August 8: Program runs (10-12 hours/week) Most work will take place M-F 9am-5pm, with one or two evenings required. Social events take place every Monday or Tuesday afternoons, as well as each Wednesday afternoon, and on Fridays for the duration of the program. There is a possibility that the students hired for this position might continue as a Student Staff member in the ELI during the next academic year.
