Audio Visual Aides (a.k.a. ROVER - Routine Observation of Vital Equipment & Resources) work in conjunction with the Technical Assistance Group (TAG) in maintaining LSA classroom functionality and standards. Our ROVER team is tasked with checking all LSA classrooms throughout central campus every evening, Sunday through Friday, looking for room issues, monitoring supply levels and checking the overall functionality of the spaces. During a typical shift, you will: - Be mobile for about 3 hours, traversing buildings throughout central campus.
- Wear a backpack, weighing about 10 pounds, containing various classroom & a/v supplies.
- Gain access to our web application via a mobile device to navigate our spaces and report issues.
- Troubleshoot, test, clean and perform minor maintenance on classroom audio/visual equipment.
- Be partnered with another student employee to help with task completion.
Up to six shifts are available on a weekly basis. |
