Job Description

Basic Function and Responsibilities: Provide programmatic and administrative support for the Alumni Education team at the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. 

General Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with content search and capture for the Alumni Education Gateway.ss This role includes identifying and curating content to be featured on the Gateway, crafting content synopsis that drives engagement and conversions, and inputting data into WordPress. Additionally, you will search for and edit photos for use on the Gateway and assist with the development of training documents and the library of operational processes for the Gateway.  

A thorough understanding of and the ability to execute the vision and strategy for the Alumni Education Program is essential. Other opportunities are available to provide support for courses and mini-courses hosted primarily on Canvas.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Experience with writing and editing copy. Knowledge and experience with basic software (Word Processing, Excel, Internet, e-mail etc.). Familiarity with data entry. Ability to work independently without much supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment. 

Ideal Qualifications: Experience working in an office environment. Interest in writing and communications. Working knowledge of WordPress. Experience working with digital asset management tools and photo editing is also a plus. Familiarity with Canvas is beneficial. 

 
 
Hourly Rate $15.00/hour to $17.00/hour
Hours 10.0 to 12.0 hours per week
