The LSA Honors Program seeks graduate students from all divisions of U-M for part-time application reading positions for the winter 2025 term. Honors admissions readers will assist the Program in evaluating applications to the LSA Honors Program from current high school students who have been admitted to LSA for the fall 2025 term. Readers will gain insight into the Honors admissions process while bringing their experience to bear in making decisions about selecting the next group of Honors students at U-M. These positions will last throughout the winter 2025 term (January 24-April 28, 2025), with the expectation that readers will work approximately 5 (five)-10 (ten) hours per week, at an hourly rate of $20. Because these are temporary, part-time positions, they do not affect concurrent GSI, GSSA or GSRA appointments. That said, a student who has a GSI, GSSA, or GSRA appointment will want to be mindful to not go over 26 hours per week (between all appintments: theri GSA appt and any and all temporary positions they may have. Training in Honors admissions processes and evaluation is provided, thus not only equipping readers for their work but also preparing them for future faculty roles.

Must be a current graduate student at U-M. Undergraduate students will not be considered.
