Our laboratory is seeking a student who is interested in part-time work in the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters. This job will entail basic work associated with a biochemistry laboratory such as pouring agar plates, preparing media, pouring electrophoresis gels, and preparing stock solutions of reagents and buffers. After the student becomes acclimated to these duties, they may begin doing research in the laboratory, depending on their interests. Students with  work study funding are eligible for this position.

Students majoring in biochemistry, biology, biophysics, chemistry, or physics are preferred for this position, although students majoring in other fields will be considered. Applicants should have completed a basic chemistry laboratory course and a biology laboratory course; course experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics, and/or organic chemistry is a plus.
