Job Description

Join Michigan Dining and work behind the scenes as we lead, feed, and contribute to the education, health, and experience of our community, environment, and staff. Enhance the experience of students while on campus through education about healthy eating, sustainable dining, and global cultures through food.

 

Work alongside a team of diverse knowledge while honing your own knowledge and skills in coding and scripting, databases, and software. Work self-directed on project-based work on campus-wide initiatives that impact all areas of dining. Skill-based work grows with you as you learn and develop new skills used across food service and other industries. 

 

Possible work includes creating and maintaining scripts within Google Suite, installing and maintaining point-of-sale hardware and software, implementing price updates across U of M, and creating training materials, guides, websites, and menus.

Job Requirements

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

 

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and GSuite products

  • Good communication skills, self-directed

  • Able to work a minimum of 10 hours weekly

  • Comfortable working with Google Apps Script
