Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the Earth and Environmental Science department culture.
  • Work with administrative staff in redesigning and reevaluating website content when necessary.
  • Develop graphic and text content for the department’s social media platforms.
  • Design graphics for the digital signage in the North University Building
  • General graphic design duties for the department (flyers, newsletters, posters, etc.) utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Attend regular supervision meetings with the Communications Coordinator
Educational Value

 Gaining experience in graphic design to have a diverse design portfolio upon graduation. Learning how to professionally interact with a variety of staff positions in an office environment. 
Job Requirements

Graduation from high school or the equivilant, supplemented by technical training in graphic design, illustration, and fine art work; work experience in commercial art and graphic design work.
