Student Graphic Designer The U-M student in this position will act as a part-time graphic designer for the University of Michigan Enrollment Management Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team, with a focus on creating eye-catching graphics to accompany social media posts as well as assisting the MarCom staff and the multimedia designer with a variety of other projects using a mix of existing design templates and original creative concepts. This position will be mostly remote with regular check-in meetings. Hours are flexible depending on project deadlines (5-10 hours per week, on average). As part of the application, candidates should include a link to a portfolio (website or shareable folder of labeled examples) highlighting at least three previous design projects completed in Adobe Creative Cloud applications. One project must highlight the use of Adobe InDesign. Work is performed under the supervision of the OEM Multimedia Designer and the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications. |
