Job Description

The research assistant will support a CDC-funded project focused on implementing SafERteens, a youth violence prevention program. The primary job task is to work with a team of analysts to clean and abstract a large data set of community surveillance data in Excel. The research assistant may help with other research tasks as needed, such as participant tracking or preparing materials for research sites.

Job Requirements

· Strong attention to detail.

· Proficiency in Excel and ability to follow data cleaning and abstraction protocol.

· Must complete PEERRS Human Subjects Research Protections training and follow good clinical practice.

· Previous human subjects research experience is preferred.

· An interest in youth violence prevention, including firearm violence prevention in health care and community settings.

Hourly Rate $15.00/hour to $18.00/hour
Hours 8.0 to 10.0 hours per week
