This part-time employment is available immediately as an addition to the WDI's (William Davidson Institute's) Energy & Mobility team. This employment offers the U-M graduate student up to ten (10) hours per week this academic term (and if mutually agreeable, possibly into the Winter academic term, too); this job is not accompanied by employee benefits. This role offers a great deal of flexibility in scheduling time to be worked; the vast majority of this work will be done remotely (off-site). While an occasional in-person meeting might be requested from time to time, that can be discussed with the successful candidate. NOTE: WDI office is scheduled to move off-campus in December 2024. Here is a representative list of job duties in supporting the Energy & Mobility team: - Conduct desk research (aka: secondary research) and analysis to support select WDI energy/mobility research projects
- Support the development of presentations, articles, and reports
- Participate in interviews or meetings with external stakeholders related to active research
