Job Description

The University of Michigan School of Public Health is seeking a Student Coordinator to support course accessibility, design, and migration efforts within the Instructional Services team. This role will focus on ensuring that course materials meet accessibility standards, assisting with the transition of courses from the Coursera Learning Management System (LMS) to Canvas, and improving the design and organization of Canvas course sites.

The Student Coordinator will work closely with instructional services staff to review and remediate course materials for accessibility compliance, transfer and sometimes rebuild course content in Canvas, and apply design tools and best practices to create clear, intuitive, and well-organized learning environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale course development efforts that directly impact the quality and accessibility of student learning experiences.

Work study eligibility required. Training will be provided. This is a remote position starting in May 2026 with the possibility of continuing in the Fall/Winter term.
