Job Description

The Rosenbaum lab in the Department of Anthropology is seeking to hire a part-time laboratory assistant to help with biomarker analysis for a NIH-funded study on longevity in wild gorillas and chimpanzees. The assistant will work closely with a postdoc to organize and prepare biological samples for analysis, conduct enzyme immunoassays to determine biomarker concentrations, enter data, and ensure lab compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Prior wet lab experience is strongly preferred.

Job Requirements

Required qualifications: highly organized, detail-oriented.  Position open to graduate student and may underfill with an undergraduate student 

Desirable qualifications: prior wet lab experience, flexible schedule, ability to work during summer 2025

Hourly Rate $15.00/hour to $25.00/hour
