This position will support student self-governance in Fraternity & Sorority Life through the advisement and training of accountability boards. This position will work closely with FSL staff to evaluate current policies and practices in Fraternity & Sorority Life related to organizational conduct and accountability, social hosting policies, etc. Advising and Training Co-advise Greek Activities Review Panel (GARP) Co-advise Social Responsibility Committee (SRC) Coordinate GARP justice training logistics Coordinate SRC training logistics Assist with facilitation of other programs as available
Assessment Ensure accurate records in GARP and SRC databases Gather data to report which organizations meet expectations for risk management for Achievement Expectations Program Assist with review of New Member Education/Intake programs as needed Develop assessment for GARP and SRC training Produce a longitudinal report of organizational conduct for chapters over a five year period Make recommendations for updates to relevant Fraternity & Sorority Life policies
Additional Responsibilities Serve as staff member on duty for Social Responsibility Committee Collaborate with other University departments as needed for programs and education Develop professional development plan to be executed throughout term Other duties as assigned
