Job Description

The Eco-Park Landscaping Crew Member will support the creation of gardens, trails, and outdoor learning spaces at a new 10-acre outdoor nature and education center. Responsibilities include landscaping gardens, trail creation and upkeep, habitat restoration projects, and helping to install interpretive signs and other park features. Crew members also provide support for public events, ensuring the park remains clean and welcoming for the community. Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, are team-oriented, and have a passion for environmental stewardship. Key Duties: -Construct and maintain new hiking trails and wayfinding signs. -Perform landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. -Assist in constructing new outdoor educational stations. -Complete various habitat restoration projects. -Collaborate with staff to prepare for park events and programs. -Interact with visitors and provide basic park information as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: -Able to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions with good humor. -Reliable and available to work onsite at the park 1-3 days per week. -Communicates well and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team. -Demonstrated commitment to respecting and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work and collaboration. -Experience with gardening, farming, agroecology, or other agricultural practices. -Interested in groundskeeping, landscaping, and habitat restoration work. -Commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Hours 5.0 to 10.0 hours per week
Compensation $18.50/hour
