Job Description

The Events & Volunteer Coordinator is Fellowfield’s main event planner. This position will collaborate with the Director to strategically plan 2025 event goals and activities and then take the lead on executing those plans. Responsibilities include preparing for and overseeing event logistics, finding event sponsors, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, and managing event follow-up. The position also involves some administrative tasks to support the park’s fundraising efforts, such as maintaining the park’s donor list and compiling information on new donor prospects. This role is essential for building community relationships, supporting park programs, and ensuring successful fundraising campaigns. Key Duties: -Collaborate with the Director to plan goals and activities for the park’s 2025 events. -Prepare for and manage public events at the park, including logistics and follow-up. -Recruit and manage relationships with event sponsors and volunteers. -Maintain ticket sales and donor records and identify potential funding sources using prospecting research tools. End Date for this job is flexible and will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: -Experience with volunteer coordination and/or event planning is required. -Excellent communication skills. -Comfortable managing groups in an outdoor setting and working with the public. -Demonstrated commitment to respecting and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work and collaboration. -Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized. -Some experience with recruiting event sponsors or donor outreach is preferred but not required. -Able to collaborate with colleagues, while taking lead on activities with volunteers. -Passion for community engagement and environmental conservation.

Hours 5.0 to 10.0 hours per week
Compensation $19.50/hour to $22.00/hour
