The School of Nursing at the University of Michigan School is seeking an experienced, positive, highly motivated, and organized person to work with a growing research team who also commits to contributing to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for all members of our community. The Research Assistant will work with the principal investigator and other research team members to efficiently carry out various quantitative data tasks, including database management, basic data analysis, and other general research duties related to project operations. This position is expected to work independently and with other research team members. The position would involve work related to research on preventive cancer care, using existing databases. Job Duties - Assist with general data-related activities, including organizing and managing project databases; performing data cleaning and creating databases from electronic survey data; organizing and maintaining data.
- Creating and updating project timelines.
- Attend research meetings and prepare written notes.
- Assist with literature searches, reviews, and writing sections of works in progress.
- Perform additional research duties as assigned.
