Job Description

Seeking an assistant to help with and/or perform mouse genotyping, mouse surgeries, mouse behavioral and physiological assays, and analysis of data. Required to handle mice, perform bench work in the lab, and generate and analyze data.

Educational Value

The assistant will learn how to plan, conduct, analyze, and interpret in vivo physiology experiments. The assistant will also learn about the organization and function of the central auditory system and the midbrain cholinergic system, as well as the fundamental steps of planning, conducting, and interpreting scientific experiments.

Job Requirements

Willingness to work with lab animals. Current or past classwork in neuroscience is preferred

Hourly Rate $15.00/hour
