Job Description

My name is Michael and I'm the founder of CorkCRM. As our business grows, I need a reliable assistant to help with various administrative tasks, including:

  • email inbox management
  • meeting notes
  • payroll
  • basic bookkeeping
  • email newsletters
  • drafting standard operating procedures
  • providing phone and email customer support
  • performing software QA (testing for bugs), etc.

You’ll work from SOPs for repetitive tasks (e.g., running payroll) but will also handle new, unfamiliar tasks (e.g., creating a slide deck for potential investors). This job will require you to think and solve problems.

Educational Value

The job will provide a front row seat to the realities of working in a tech startup.

Job Requirements

Here are requirements for this position:

  • English fluency
  • available to work a total of 8–10 hours/week, Monday through Thursday, during mid-morning or afternoon hours.
  • comfortable working in person at our Ann Arbor, MI office. Our office is located at 206 E Huron St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
