Job Description

Stamps Pre-College is seeking 2-4 current students to join our staff as Pre-College Assistants (PCAs) to support both virtual and in-person programming in our spring and summer programs.

Successful candidates will have:

  • an interest in supporting and facilitating arts programming for high school students

  • previous administrative or office experience and/or a desire to learn about arts administration as a possible career

  • experience in coaching, mentoring and supervising and/or an interest in building the aforementioned competencies

Pre-College Assistants play a critical role in the success of the Stamps Pre-College programs. PCAs provide program support to both the administrative and instructional staff. PCAs assist student participants, supporting their success and wellness for the duration of their Pre-College experience. Additionally, PCAs commit themselves to their own personal development as leaders/facilitators/administrators. Students in their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies will be given consideration for these positions.

Pre-College Assistants will be paid $18 per hour. PCAs will be provided with room and board throughout the duration of the residential programs (July 5  - Aug. 2, 2025).  Please apply with a resume and a cover letter outlining your interests/suitability for the program no later than March 15, 2025.  For questions or concerns with the application process please reach out to Blanca Echeverria (eblanca@umich.edu).
