Job Description

This is a bioinformatics job with the goal of developing ontology-based pipelines and web knowledgebases. The ontology-based ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) pipeline will be first developed and used to extract knowledge and data from ontologies, and after transformation, load them into backend databases. We will also develop web applications for visualization and query of the stored information. Furthermore, we will develop large language models (LLMs) to support our biomedical knowledge and data extraction, and we will evaluate how ontologies will enhance the performance of such LLMs.
