KidSport Adaptive Summer Camp offers children ages 4-11 the opportunity to learn and play a variety of team sports, individual sports, team building games, fitness, and other physical education activities, in a non-competitive and fun sports environment. KidSport Adaptive is specifically designed to address the modifications that may be needed by children with neurodevelopmental or physical differences. Pool time (e.g., instructional swimming and aquatic recreation) will be available each week for campers who are able to safely participate. - Help campers engage in the physical activities
- Support a variety of physical, social and cognitive needs
- Plan daily activities using provided KidSport Game file
- Prepare and put away equipment daily
- Must be available for 9 weeks (June 16-August 15), Monday thru Friday, from 8am-4pm, with a lunch break from 12-1pm. No camp Thursday, July 3rd or Friday, July 4th
- Some staff will be needed to help supervise lunch. No one will work over 40 hours/week
- Availability during orientation week, June 9-13
