In the Office of Financial Aid (OFA), a position is more than just a job; it is an opportunity. In this job, you will assist with a key campus-facing OFA subunit, Financial Education & Engagement. This subunit provides financial education presentations to student groups, table events, and classes. In this student position, you will assist in offering these presentations and provide administrative support, including creating presentation materials, organizing events, and ensuring pre and post-survey data is gathered and tracked. You may also be asked to help with non-confidential support for the various OFA Financial Education courses taught, including marketing, attendance at enrollment events, and gathering and tracking course-related data. We are looking for someone who can exercise initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate will know about financial literacy topics, examples of utilizing independent judgment, and experience with public speaking and interacting with campus partners and leaders. Candidates should also have strong oral and written communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Work hours may occur during OFA standard business hours, but there will be additional expectations for evening work for events as required.
