The Creative Media Coordinator will create content to share with the U of M community, including, but not limited to: graphics and logos, online and printed resources, and social media materials. This position will provide real-world experience in project management, social media content creation, videography, and graphic design. In addition, the role will expand one’s connection to and understanding of the SAPAC services and professional staff team and the unit’s effort towards marketing social norming and cultural change. We are looking for a reliable, dependable, punctual, creative, and detail-oriented current student to fill this position. Necessary Qualifications: University of Michigan student Must be able to commit to a position for a full academic year (i.e. no study abroad second semester, December graduation, etc.) Strong visual design skills Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other SAPAC students and staff Highly communicative and organized Self-driven, with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and quick turnaround time Ability to represent SAPAC and Student Life professionally Familiarity with issues surrounding sexual violence and social justice work
Desirable Qualifications: Preferred aptitude in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Cannon Cameras, and/or Photoshop Familiarity with Google Drive suite (Calendar, Docs, Forms, Sheets, etc.)

Job Requirements |
Responsibilities and Duties: Create social media content that is focused on social norming and sharing information with our campus community about sexual violence prevention and response including by not limited to bystander education, how to respond to disclosures, resources and support for survivors of interpersonal violence/sexual assault. This content will align with an intersectional, transformative justice, and anti-racism perspective. Educate campus community about related awareness, heritage, and identity specific history months, and social norms around aspects of healthy relationships, consent, bystander intervention and how to respond to disclosure. Assist in creating social media strategy and manage input to SAPAC social media calendar for Instagram content. Align with current social media trends to increase engagement and brand integrity, ensuring all content remains up to date, innovative, relevant and aligns with university and SAPAC guidelines. Connect, build relationships, and meet with SAPAC staff, co-coordinators, interns, volunteers, and peer-led support group facilitators, as well as campus partners, to develop content, details and logistics of projects. Build graphics and marketing materials for particular SAPAC and/or related events and campaigns Assists in the designing of SAPAC merch and office resources
Participate in collaborative media efforts with other departments or student groups working in partnership with SAPAC Initiate and coordinate email communication about all digital media projects Gather and incorporate feedback into drafts of projects Attend SAPAC events to capture images and videos of activities and participant feedback Attend weekly supervision meetings
Mission-oriented responsibilities: Promote SAPAC’s mission on and beyond campus Develop an understanding of SAPAC's strategic plan and how the work of the Creative Media Coordinator connects with it Develop an understanding of all Prevention Education programming and efforts of Survivor Care Team and how their services and workshop content contribute to SAPAC’s mission Familiarize self with SAPAC Style Guide, SAPAC Social Media Strategy, and Student Life Social Media Best Practices and Resources to produce materials in line with current SAPAC and Student Life media standards
