Job Description

Job Description: The DART Laboratory at the Taubman college school of Architecture and Urban Planning is seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Photographer and Content Creator. You will document projects, create high-quality visual assets, and  create compelling multimedia content. Ideal candidates will be self motivated individuals with a strong aesthetic sensibility, technical skills in photography, videography graphic design, and the ability to convey ideas visually.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photography & Videography: Capture high-quality images and videos of models, projects, and lab activities for documentation and public exposure.
  • Post-Production: Edit and enhance photos and videos to produce polished, professional content.
  • Graphic Design: Develop visual assets, including diagrams, collages, posters, and animations, to support the lab’s projects and presentations.
  • Creative Input: Contribute to brainstorming sessions and propose innovative ways to visually represent the lab’s work.

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in photography, videography, and relevant editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After effects).
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience in tools like Adobe Illustrator.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in content creation for academic, professional, or social media platforms is a plus.
Hourly Rate $16.00/hour to $20.00/hour
Hours 5.0 hours per week
