Job Description: The DART Laboratory at the Taubman college school of Architecture and Urban Planning is looking for a dedicated and skilled Website Developer and Specialist to build the lab’s website. This role involves building the website infrastructure, uploading all contents, creating a template for team to keep the website updates and a workshop that explain it. You should have creative and designerly sense for typography, ensuring website functionality, and maintaining a user-friendly, visually appealing platform that aligns with the lab’s mission and goals. Responsive design across different devices, computers, tablets, and smartphones. Key Responsibilities: - Develop fully functional, efficient, and responsive websites that are user-friendly, easy to maintain, and simple for the team to update.
- Upload the material to the website and iterate to achieve an optimal website.
- Conduct a workshop and produce template for maintenance and update of the website by the team members.
- Be available for troubleshooting: Monitor the site’s functionality, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Design and Usability Enhancements: Collaborate with the team to improve website aesthetics, usability, and navigation to effectively highlight the lab's projects and achievements
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the website is optimized for speed, mobile compatibility, and accessibility standards.
