Job Description
The Biomedical Engineering Career Planning and Alumni Engagement coordinator seeks a motivated and detail-oriented student temp to assist with data collection and entry for our alumni and career development databases. This role is essential in maintaining accurate and updated records, which will help enhance our support for current students and alumni in their career development and department engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct online research and outreach to gather current information on alumni and industry contacts.
  • Enter and update alumni and career development database data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining digital records and files.
  • Collaborate with the Career Planning and Alumni Engagement Coordinator to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and provide updates on progress.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Job Requirements
  • Current student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.) 
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to gather information from various sources (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, M-Community, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting 
  • Previous experience with databases or data entry is a plus but not required.
Hourly Rate $16.00/hour
Hours 10.0 to 15.0 hours per week
