Job Description

Front desk position for a 501(c)3 nonprofit community acupuncture clinic. 

Educational Value

Must answer phone calls, schedule appointments and accept payment. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience with running a sustainable social business/nonprofit in a public health setting. Looking for self-sufficiency and those who want to gain experience managing an office in a fairly high-volume clinic.

Job Requirements

Candidate must be personable and welcoming, able to multi-task, and be familiar with basic computer
software such as Microsoft word, google drive. Must have reliable transportation. Able
to commit to a schedule for a minimum of 1 semester. Preference for work study
students who will need to provide their award letter. We will also consider non-work
study students, especially over the summer.

We are currently looking for someone who can start in June/July 2026 and continue into the school year. Right now, we’re looking for someone to work either Wednesdays: morning shift 8:30-1:00/2:00 or afternoon shift 1:00/2:00-7:00 or Fridays 9:00-3:00 but more/different hours may become available. Shifts are 6 hours or less, can be flexible for the right person.
