Job Description

The College of Engineering Office of Student Affairs is seeking a student to assist with administrative support for the Transfer Credit Evaluation Office. Tasks will include assisting with processing transcripts, prepping coures in MPathways, imaging and scanning documents using Perceptive Content, data entry, and utilizing CoE and University transfer credit equivalency databases. The student will assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Educational Value

This position will provide the student with opportunities to learn about higher education administration (transcripts, transfer credit processes, higher education policies) and the field of engineering education.  The student will be exposed to a range of administrative, reporting, and project management skills.  The student will develop organizational, multi-taksing, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to interpret data from multiple sources.  The student will gain experience using Perceptive Content, Google applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and MPathways Oracle PeopleSoft.

Job Requirements

The student must be organized and motivated, with the ability to provide high attention to detail. The student must be able to maintain strict confidentiality when working with material of a sensitive nature.  The student must have an interest in learning transfer credit policies and procedures.  Tasks require the student to be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.  A non-College of Engineering student is preferred. 

Hourly Rate $16.00/hour to $17.00/hour
