Job Description

The Department of Learning Health Sciences (DLHS) at the University of Michigan

Medical School is a first-of-its-kind basic science department focused on the

learning sciences within health at all levels of scale: individuals, teams,

organizations, and large-scale systems that span states and nations. For more

Educational Value

DLHS is seeking tutors to work one-on-one with students in a face-to-face or

distributed learning environment for a graduate level course: "Evaluation Methods

for Biomedical Informatics and Learning Systems" (LHS660-SI648-HMP648). This

course will be taught primarily in a self-paced, modular format. Tutors will answer

students' questions and grade students' "mastery tests" on an on-call basis. All

grading performed for the course will come from a highly specific rubric that is

provided by the instructor.

Job Requirements

Graduation from a college or university with a Master's degree in a related field or Prior completion of this course, or other evidence of mastery of the course material, is highly desirable.
