Job Description
  • The Trust, Innovation, and Ethics Research for Responsible AI (TIERRA) program is seeking a Research Associate to work across several projects focused on the policy and ethics of learning health systems and related enterprises, such as health AI and information systems.
     
  • The Research Associate will work across several projects focused on policy and ethics of learning health systems and related enterprises such as health AI, information systems.  The primary goal of the research involved in these projects is to investigate questions that inform the development of trustworthy health information and knowledge systems and to impact policy and governance of novel health information opportunities.
     
  • The Department of Learning Health Sciences values and is committed to the development of a positive and inclusive environment.
     
  • The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting analysis on data collected through national surveys, and interviews.
Educational Value

This position offers hands-on experience through the intersection of health policy, ehtics and health information systems. It will provide opportunities to conduct analysis, strengthen research and communication.

Job Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in presenting research results to a variety of audiences (academic, policy makers)
     
  • Support manuscript and proposal preparation (literature review, including reference management, and data visualization)
     
  • Conduct literature reviews and support survey design and analysis
     
  • Conduct and document stakeholder interviews as needed
     
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
     
  • Regularly exercise good judgment with regard to setting priorities
     
  • Personal commitment to high quality work and exceptional attention to detail
     
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, sciences, or information systems required
     
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills
Hourly Rate $30.00/hour
Hours 10.0 to 29.0 hours per week
