The position includes the following responsibilities: stocking laboratory classrooms, preparing solutions and media, setting up and breaking down carts with laboratory supplies weekly, operating autoclaves and water baths, assisting with breaking down and cleaning out laboratory spaces, updating various equipment inventories. Candidate must be responsible and reliable. Following through hands-on training, tasks are expected to be performed with minimal supervision.

Completion of safety training to work in a biosafety level 2 environment. 

Candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills as well as strong time management skills.
