Job Description

The Kellogg Eye Center is looking for a Research Assistant that will help with a broad range of federally funded research work including:

  • Patient recruitment
  • Survey distribution
  • Collect and organize data
  • Interviewing patients
  • Abstract data from the electronic medical record
  • Enter data into a REDCap database
  • Learn about the eHealth research process

Desired attributes include experience working with Excel and Word, data entry, and attention to detail, masters-level study in Public Health or Social Work.

Educational Value

The assistant will gain experience working on health equity research, data sources, and EHR. The student will also be part of a large clinical study research team.

Job Requirements

The candidate needs a work-study award in their financial aid package. Positive attitude, good team player and accountability are required. Hours worked will be in-person weekdays.
