The Global Engagement Team, on behalf of the Provost’s Office, provides consultation, support services, and infrastructure for U-M schools, colleges, and units that offer education abroad programs for students. Team members develop and maintain resources for international travel health and safety, respond to travel emergencies and critical incidents, conduct pre-departure workshops, and support the M-Compass and travel registry systems. As a Global Engagement Student Assistant, you will gain valuable skills and experience in the following areas: - Travel risk management
- International education administration within a large public research institution
- Use of Terra Dotta software
- Digital marketing tools, including Canva, WordPress, and Adobe
- Digital video creation platforms, including Biteable and Synthesia
