Job Description

Schedule: Primarily Weekends (Friday–Sunday) Saline Area Schools is seeking dependable and responsible individuals to serve as Building Supervisors. This part-time position plays a vital role in our facility operations by ensuring our school buildings are open, accessible, and secure during community rentals and special events. The Building Supervisor serves as the on-site point of contact for renters and is responsible for both opening and closing the facility, as well as supporting a smooth and safe experience for all building users. Key Responsibilities *Open and close buildings during scheduled rental times and ensure proper security protocols are followed. *Serve as the **primary on-site contact** for individuals or organizations renting school facilities. * Assist renters with general building questions and minor operational needs (e.g., lights, restrooms, access to designated spaces). * Maintain a **visible and approachable presence** during rental periods. * Communicate clearly with the Facility Director regarding any issues, concerns, or incidents. * Report damages or safety concerns to the appropriate district staff. * Occasionally assist with basic cleanup or setup as needed.

Job Requirements

* Must be **18 years of age or older** * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving. * Must pass a background check per school district policy.

Hours 10.0 to 22.0 hours per week
Compensation $16.00/hour
When Job is Available Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer
Start Date Late August
End Date We run year around, so when the student graduats they typically leave.
