Job Description

The Marketing and Communications office is seeking a part-time work-study assistant to work on a variety of projects through the semester, in support of Ford School events and media management. 

The public affairs assistant will provide administrative support for events, across a variety of tasks: drafting emails and recipient lists, distribution of electronic marketing materials, proofreading, posting posters around campus, attending high-caliber events, and writing summaries for web and social posting. Some video editing may be required as well.

For media management, assist with summarizing and publishing faculty media mentions, and finding other ways to promote faculty, research center, and staff accomplishments.  

This position is for 6 to 12 hours per week during regular business hours; work-study financial aid required. 

Position begins as soon as available and continues through the end of Winter semester, with potential for renewal. 

Work location is Weill Hall at 735 S. State Street, a partially-remote schedule is negotiable.
