About The Keene Theater at the Residential College (RC) is hiring members of our Student Tech Team. This role assists in event execution by operating and maintaining audio, video, and lighting equipment during the Keene Theater's busy event schedule in the Fall and Winter semesters. The Keene Theater is a 150-seat theater in East Quad, that hosts student plays, musicals, concerts, guest lectures, and other performances. The candidate should be tech-savvy and familiar with AV and lighting equipment, and will be trained on equipment that they are not familiar with. This is a part-time, in-person position, with a variable work schedule: busy production weeks may include up to 20 hours, while slower weeks may only offer ~5 hours of open shifts, depending on the needs of the theater. Includes tasks such as Operating the theater's technical equipment, such as the following: Coordinating with event organizers such as the Center for World Performance Studies, the RC Players, and RC staff and faculty Assisting with theater maintenance, repairing equipment, and organizing theatrical props
