This position will engage students in a research laboratory at the University of Michigan Medical School, investigating Th2 inflammatory responses and lung inflammation in asthma both in human and mouse models. In our lab, student responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Handling biological samples, such as isolating CD4+ T cells from mouse spleens, and independently performing molecular techniques like PCR-based mouse genotyping, RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, and qPCR. Additionally, tasks involve mouse handling, cell culture, mouse organ harvesting, and various immunological techniques, including western blot, and ELISA. |
