Job Summary

As the grader, you will support URP 509 - Public Economics for Urban Planning which delineates efficiency- and equity-based rationales for planning, and explores how economic modes of thinking can aid in the design of planning to alter market outcomes. The main tasks of the grader include, but are not limited to: 

  • Meet with faculty on demand to prepare for grading of student work.

  • Grade student problem sets and exams.

  • Counsel students on demand concerning their work.

Job Requirements
  • Graduate student at the University of Michigan

  • Previously completed courses in the areas of microeconomics and public economics and have demonstrated excellence on those subjects

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing).
