Job Description    

    The Marketing Assistant will assist the Marketing & Communications Manager at Matthaei Botanical Gardens in a variety of tasks including social media, graphic design, video production, website projects and general administrative tasks. The student will work closely with Matthaei Botanical Gardens staff as well as independently. We are looking for students who can work both Fall and Winter terms.

     

    Educational Value

    The student will gain skills in marketing, social media, video production, and web design while working with the botanical gardens staff. The student will develop problem solving and communication skills.

    Job Requirements

    Must have the ability to be responsible, organized, outgoing, enthusiastic and willing to take initiative. Adobe suite experience and/or graphic design or art background helpful. This position is project based, so hours may fluctuate according to workload. Transportation assistance may be available. Students must be eligible for federal work study.
