Planet Blue Ambassador Sustainability Program Assistant: Education Specialist The Planet Blue Ambassador (PBA) program educates students, staff, and faculty members about sustainability initiatives at the University of Michigan and inspires them to get engaged and lead through personal action. The PBA program accomplishes this through hosting events and trainings, tabling, collaborating with other units and groups across campus, creating blogs, and sharing access to resources. The individual selected for this role will be involved in educating the U-M community about sustainability and increasing climate literacy. A cover letter is required to be considered for this role. Responsibilities: - Design and present PBA trainings to student organizations, primarily in the evening.
- Write at least 2 informational blog posts related to sustainability at U-M.
- Coordinate between multiple university sustainability units when planning event opportunities.
- Develop and lead 2 to 3 smaller-scale educational sustainability events for the Fall semester, such as a drop in Planet Blue Ambassador training, a Self-Care and sustainability workshop, or sharing student sustainability research.

- PBA tables and events during Climate Week.
- tabling events and programs specific to various schools, colleges, and identities.
- Refine and update the PBA training, resource toolkit, and other educational materials with relevant up-to-date information by researching.
- Track and update records of certified ambassadors.
- Record metrics for PBA trainings, events, blogs, and resource toolkit.
