Grounds and Facilities Maintenance at Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum. We are looking for students to assist with landscape maintenance, mowing, trimming, building, road and facility maintenance at both locations. This position will provide time to work alone and also as a part of a larger group. Basic mechanical skills are required, as well as the willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.  We are looking for students who can work Fall and Winter terms for at least 10 hours per week.

Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers and basic hand power tools, must have a mechanical aptitude and good interpersonal skills, willingness to work in varied environments and a willingness to be part of a team.  Transportation assistance may be available. Students must be eligible for federal work study.
